Rising Above the Dismantling Paradigm

Let’s talk about money and how once a heart-led leader starts to make it, we feel the resistance of others rise up.

Everyone is comfortable seeing small businesses as “a successful side hustle” or only making 20K-30K/year. When healers, soul-centered entrepreneurs, and system-scattering change-makers are “small”, others (family, friends, other businesses, strangers, etc.) want to support them. The level of income they’re making here feels safe to them. They aren’t threatening the money paradigm they’re currently in.

The smallness of a seedling business feels like the small waves brushing up against their ankles. But when that soul-centered business starts to make traction, begins to make a bigger impact and money that breaks the paradigm of what others think “should” be possible…

Well, those small waves start to embody the power of the ocean’s potential. The effects are felt. It’s catalytic. They M O V E people.…and if you’re a not a cis male, you’ll move people even more.

A defense system is activated in them. They *unconsciously* begin to engage in what I like to call…

“Dismantling the Rising Change-Maker”

We’ve all seen it in action and even felt it to some degree. It’s the reason change-makers are scared to be SEEN…and even more fearful of making big money.

It’s usually an unconscious process for people, and affects those closest in proximity to you.

“Dismantling the Rising Change-Maker” stems from protection: protecting one’s fragile self-image or worth, protecting the system holding that person up, or, a shit attempt at protecting the change-maker from “failing”.

It can look like…

Shaming

Gaslighting

Disempowering

Judging

Guilting

It feels like…contraction…suffocation…and an attempt to extinguish your fire.

Here’s the truth.

Those that play a role in a system that dismisses their purpose will always be shaken by and envious of those who chose a different path. When you rise, your light brightens.

That light shatters the illusion of “this is the only way” -- the system that has kept others playing small, safely tucked in their unfulfilling comfort zone. Your light highlights their lower-limiting beliefs, disempowering money stories, worthiness stories, and the needed shadow-work they haven’t yet done.

It reminds those close to you of what could have been possible for them too if they would have stuck with their dreams instead of settling with what’s “rational”. In turn, they engage in the Dismantling Paradigm in order to justify the path they chose and to reassure themselves that shirking was the smart move.

Their attempt to dismantle you is just an attempt to extinguish what enlightens their blinding truth: that there is something more their soul is yearning for and they’re too fearful to take action.

With every next-level we reach in our business, we push a new edge.

Each time we confront new version of the same stories. Every change-maker feels the pull at their ankles of the system trying to pull them down...but for empath, is this amplified.

We have additional stories and identities that are attached us. We are the caretaker, the martyr, the healer. We are known for our generous hearts & over-giving nature. So, when empath entrepreneurs start making a bigger impact & push the edge of 5-figure months, the inner critic starts roaring--being “rich” isn’t aligned with the image we had for ourselves.

We start becoming our own dismantler in order to protect ourselves from others’ attempts to bring us down and cling tightly to the identity that makes Empaths feel worthy of love ( i.e. if I’m always available, I serve a purpose & therefore am worthy of love and attention.)

For me, the Dismantling Paradigm triggered some core Empath wounds.

I questioned if it was “good” for me to make money. I succumbed to external judgments and let them spiral over & over in my head. I fell into doubt in my ability, my credibility & my power. I doubted my worthiness of being highly successful & making the money I desired. Everything shifted when I changed the way I was being towards myself & in my business. My business grew & my income doubled.

It was a consistent combination of these 5 things that helped me rise above:

Healing

Channeling

Soul-led Marketing & Strategy

Energetic Alchemy

Embodiment
